Remarks on sine-Gordon kink–fermion system: localized modes and scattering

We study numerically the kink-fermion interactions in a 1+1 dimensional toy model, which describes sine-Gordon kinks coupled to massless Dirac fermions with backreaction. show that spectrum of fermionic modes strongly depends on choice coupling, particular, there are no localized for minimal Yukawa coupling. analyze scattering packet by kink. demonstrate outcome collision dynamically phase incoming fermion packet, it results alternating regimes positive and negative acceleration
